Fast cars are enjoyable just as is downhill skiing, and any number of other sports or activities. A beautifully designed and detailed car is enjoyable to look at just as is a magnificent landscape or a Hubble telescope image of a distant star cluster. Fast cars are fast cars. It's hard telling where the fastest cars come from. Fast cars are a way of life for some, and for those who cannot afford these engineering marvels, there are always automobile magazines which cater to them, churning out realistic accounts of the feel of driving these fast cars.
